Abigail Barrett, M.A., L.P.

A licensed organizational psychologist with more than 30 years of experience, Abigail has worked with a broad spectrum of industries and clients, from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. She has special expertise in leadership development, executive coaching, team development, and succession planning.
In every engagement, she works closely with key individuals and stakeholders to get to the heart of the issue, provides clear and candid assessments, helps people change their behavior in relevant ways, and connects those behaviors to business priorities and desired outcomes.
Prior to founding Leadership Transitions in 1999, Abigail was a partner with a national consulting firm. Earlier, she was co-founder of McGladrey & Pullen’s Management Development Institute, where she created and delivered development programs for leaders in closely held businesses.
Abigail holds a master’s in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Minnesota Psychological Association, and Minnesota Women Psychologists.
In addition, Abigail is a national speaker on leadership effectiveness, conflict management, intentional communication, collaborative team skills, and business succession planning.
