Abigail Barrett, M.A., L.P.
Abigail Barrett is a licensed psychologist with more than twenty years of executive coaching and team development experience, and expertise in closely held businesses.
Prior to founding Leadership Transitions in 1999, Abigail was a partner with a national consulting firm and provided executive coaching, succession planning, and team development services for a wide range of clients. Before that, she was co-founder and senior manager of McGladrey & Pullen’s Management Development Institute, where she created and delivered development programs for leaders in family-owned businesses.
Abigail holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Minnesota Psychological Association, Minnesota Women’s Psychologists, the Family Firm Institute, and the Family Business Alliance. Abigail is also a national speaker on conflict management, effective communication, collaborative team skills, leadership development, and business succession planning.
